2GO Schedule and Fare Guide 2026: Sailings and Classes

2GO Schedule and Fare Guide 2026: Sailings and Classes

The 2GO schedule is a weekly pattern: each ship repeats the same route on the same days, so a Manila to Cebu or Manila to Bacolod departure falls on fixed weekdays rather than every day. 2GO Travel publishes this pattern on its sailing schedule page, which was marked “Updated as of January 15, 2026” when we checked it, and posts changes for specific voyages on its advisories page. Below is how to read the schedule, which sailings leave Manila, and how a fare is built.

Reading the 2GO schedule

Each line on 2GO’s schedule gives the ship, the departure day and time, and the arrival day and time. A few points matter when planning:

  • Voyages often take one to two nights, so the arrival day can be two or three days after departure.
  • Many ships make multiple stops. The Manila–Davao ship, for example, also calls at General Santos, Zamboanga, and Iloilo.
  • 2GO says boarding gates close one hour before departure.
  • Specific voyages can be rescheduled or swapped to another ship. 2GO posts these as voyage advisories and notifies booked passengers by SMS.

The schedule page also lists sailings from Manila to Butuan (Nasipit), Davao, General Santos, Dipolog, and Ozamiz, plus inter-island links such as Batangas–Caticlan, which runs daily at 9:00 PM.

New 2GO schedule additions in September 2026

A 2GO advisory posted September 7, 2026 added Davao–Zamboanga, General Santos–Zamboanga, and Zamboanga–Iloilo on the Manila–Davao–General Santos–Zamboanga–Iloilo–Manila route from September 26, and Cebu–Batangas on the Manila–Cebu–Batangas–Manila route from September 22. Our 2GO new routes guide has the full timetable and base fares.

Return trips on the 2GO schedule

Return sailings do not mirror outbound days. For example, the published 2GO schedule has Cebu to Manila on Tuesday at 11:59 AM and Friday at 4:00 PM or 11:59 PM, depending on the ship, while Puerto Princesa to Manila leaves on Sunday at 4:30 AM. Therefore, check both directions before fixing your dates, especially when you have a hard deadline such as a flight or work shift.

Accommodation classes

2GO ships offer several classes, and not every ship has all of them. Its accommodations page lists, depending on the vessel:

  • Mega Value and Tourist: shared bunks, the cheapest options;
  • Tourist Premium: shared bunks with more comfort;
  • Business Class: rooms for two, four, or six people;
  • State Room, Suite, and VIP Suite: private rooms.

The price gap between classes can be large. On the new Davao–Zamboanga link, for example, 2GO’s published base fares ranged from P3,453.13 for Tourist to P14,700 for VIP.

How a 2GO fare is built

2GO calls its published fares “base fares” and notes that they are the highest published rates, before tiered pricing and discounts. The all-in amount you pay can include:

  1. the base fare for your class;
  2. the fuel surcharge for your portlink;
  3. meals;
  4. a security fee;
  5. optional insurance;
  6. linen, if applicable; and
  7. service fees from the outlet that issues the ticket.

For Manila North Harbor departures, the passenger terminal fee has been collected with the ticket since July 2, 2024. The fuel surcharge changed several times in 2026; see our 2GO fuel surcharge guide for the latest amounts.

Why the price changes between searches

Because of tiered pricing, the same class on the same sailing can cost more as the ship fills up. Promotions such as Sea Sales lower the base fare for specific travel periods. So, the best way to see your real price is to run a search for your exact date and class, then compare a few nearby sailings.

Discounts and special fares

  • Senior citizens, PWDs, and students: 20% off the base rate. 2GO says senior discounts can be booked online or at outlets, while PWD and student discounts are available only at 2GO ticketing outlets. Senior discounts do not apply to promo fares, though VAT is removed.
  • Children 2 to 11: the child rate, 75% of the regular fare, or the full promo fare, whichever is lower, with their own bunk.
  • Infants under 2: a flat P500 fare, sharing the adult’s bunk, with no free baggage.

Where to book

2GO sells tickets through its website, the 2GO app, corporate ticketing outlets, and authorized retail outlets. Our 2GO online booking guide covers the website steps. For discounts that need ID checks, go to an outlet.

Ticket validity and changes to your 2GO schedule

Since May 7, 2025, 2GO tickets are valid only on the departure date printed on them, or on the rescheduled date if the voyage is delayed or cancelled. Rebooking and refunds must be done before the ship departs. 2GO charges a rebooking surcharge plus any fare difference at current rates, and refunds also carry a surcharge. Meals, terminal fee, insurance, security fee, and linen are non-refundable. For voyages that 2GO itself reschedules, recent advisories have allowed refunds or rebooking without surcharge within 30 days of the original departure.

Baggage on a 2GO schedule trip

Full-fare passengers get a 50 kg free hand-carry allowance under 2GO’s policy. Appliances, sports equipment, and commercial goods have separate charges; see our 2GO baggage guide for the rate table.

Planning around the 2GO schedule: an example

Say you want to reach Coron for a weekend. The published schedule shows MV St. Francis Xavier leaving Manila on Friday at 5:30 PM and arriving Saturday at 6:30 AM. The return, on MV 2GO Masigla, leaves Coron on Sunday at 8:30 PM and arrives in Manila on Monday at 9:30 AM. Before booking, check 2GO’s advisories for that weekend, compare the total for Tourist and Business Class, and plan to reach Pier 4 at Manila North Harbor about four hours before departure, as 2GO recommends.

How to read the 2GO schedule

The 2GO schedule lists sailings by route and day. However, it is easy to misread at first. So check three things for each trip. First, the departure port and the arrival port. Next, the day and time of departure. Finally, the expected arrival, since many trips arrive the next day.

Matching the 2GO schedule with your plans

  • Pick a sailing that leaves you a buffer before work, school, or a flight.
  • Check whether the return trip runs on the day you need it.
  • Look for overnight sailings if you want to save on a hotel night.
  • Avoid tight connections with buses or flights on the same day.

When the 2GO schedule changes

Weather, maintenance, and port issues can change sailings. As a result, the schedule you saw last week may not hold. So check the official 2GO advisories a day or two before you sail. In addition, watch your email for notices. If your trip is cancelled, read the rebooking and refund rules right away. Meanwhile, keep your ticket and receipts, since you will need them.

For help on the day itself, read our 2GO terminal guide. You can also see our step-by-step 2GO booking guide.

Quick recap of the 2GO schedule

Check the route, day, and arrival time for each sailing. Next, add the base fare, surcharge, and fees to get your real cost. Then confirm the trip a day before you sail. These three habits prevent most missed trips and budget surprises.
