Some articles on PinoyTips contain affiliate links. This page explains how those links and other commercial relationships can help fund the website, so you can take that context into account when reading a recommendation.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link identifies PinoyTips as a referring publisher. When you follow one and complete a qualifying purchase or other eligible action, we may receive a commission under the merchant’s or affiliate network’s program.
The commission is paid under our arrangement with the merchant or network, not as a separate charge collected by PinoyTips from you. Always check the final price, taxes, shipping, fees, and terms with the merchant. An affiliate link does not guarantee the lowest price or a particular discount.
Amazon Associates
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
This applies to qualifying purchases through the Amazon affiliate links used in our content. Product prices, availability, delivery options, and merchant terms can change, so check the current information on Amazon before buying.
Disclosures in articles
An affiliate notice in an article explains that we may earn a commission from qualifying transactions. This page provides additional detail and is not a substitute for clear notices near the relevant links or recommendations.
If a commercial relationship is unclear, email admin.pinoytips@gmail.com with the article address and the link in question.
Recommendations and personal experience
Affiliate compensation creates a financial incentive. Consider that relationship alongside the explanation, sources, and limitations in the article, and decide whether an option fits your needs.
A product, accommodation, or destination mention does not automatically mean that its author has personally used, stayed at, or tested it. Treat an experience as firsthand only when the article explicitly says so. No recommendation guarantees suitability or a particular result.
Sponsored content and complimentary items
If we accept payment for coverage, or receive a product, stay, activity, or service free or at a discount in connection with coverage, we will identify that relationship in the relevant content. Any new affiliate arrangement will also be disclosed where it is used.
Display advertising
Display advertisements, when enabled, may be selected by an advertising network. An advertisement is separate from editorial content and is not necessarily a personal recommendation or endorsement by PinoyTips.
Purchases, support, and privacy
Purchases and bookings take place with the relevant merchant or service provider under its own terms. PinoyTips does not take your payment or handle delivery, cancellations, refunds, warranties, or order support for those transactions.
Affiliate services may use cookies and referral information to track qualifying transactions. Read our Privacy Policy and the provider’s own privacy notice for relevant information.
