2021 Fiesta Señor Celebration Schedule of Liturgical Activities.
Because of the current pandemic, the City Government and Basilica will simplify this year’s Fiesta celebration. And the following activities will be canceled:
- Penitential Walk with Jesus
- Penitential Walk with Mary
- Translacion (Cebu City to Mandaue City to Lapu-Lapu City)
- Fluvial Procession and re-enactment
- Solemn Foot Procession
Basilica’s Facebook, Youtube Channel, and other partners will air all novena masses.
Fiesta Señor 2021 COVID-19 Protocols
- Present Quarantine Pass/Company ID
- Persons 15-65-year old are only allowed to enter the Basilica
- The bringing of Backpack highly discouraged
- Wearing of Face Mask and Face Shield is a must
- Always wash and sanitize hands
- Undergo temperature check
- Observe Physical Distancing
- Follow Markers and Signages
- Taking pictures not allowed
- No Balloons allowed
- No Loitering
- Must leave immediately after the mass for disinfection
- Communion by hands
- Avoid touching images
